Getting updates and information to everyone on your team is really hard, especially since getting everyone in the same room at once is so difficult. Announcements provide value to your business(es) and to your employees in three buckets:

  • You can also send it by email and save significant admin time.

Conspicuously Posted

Announcements can be reviewed anytime in MISEbox, making it hard to say, "I didn't know that," You're welcome.

Protip: Regularly audit your restaurant's Our Team page to ensure active employees are listed and former employees have been terminated. For more information, check out our help section about Managing Employees.


What to say and how often

Create a culture of recognition and inspiration with Announcements in MISEbox, developing your employees' connection with your business(es) and each other. Here are some ways our clients use this feature:

"We've updated our #WinesBTG today with three new wines, including #WineOne, #WineTwo, and #WineThree. Over the next couple of days, we'll be tasting and reviewing at pre-shift."

"Weekend Sales Contest! The person that sells the most #DeliciousDish will win a bottle of #ThisWine! You have to sell at least three (3) to be eligible to win the prize. We'll provide a chance to taste the dish at pre-shift on Friday and Saturday. Good luck!"
