Create Menu-Specific QR Codes

Learn how to create a QR code for a single menu. This can be useful for private events, secret menus, and more!

Updated over a week ago

In addition to the QR code provided for each MISEbox site, you can create an individual code for specific menus. This feature provides allows you to give access to a menu without assigning it to a meal period, effectively making it private to those that can scan the code. Some examples of how this can be helpful: private event menus, secret menus (like after-hours or 'industry' specials), and special notices (like health and safety).

Step 1

Navigate to the Menus area of MISEbox, and select "Guest Access Manager" from the Digital Menus Settings options.

Step 2

On the left-hand side of the page, look for a dropdown under the heading "Menu- Specific QR Code" and select the menu you wish to create a code for.

Step 3

When you select a menu, the direct link and the QR code will appear. You can copy the URL and download either an SVG or PNG version of the QR code to use in any digital or print context.
